The stupendous success of Vinnaithandi varuvaya with Simbu and Trisha in the lead convinced the director of the film Gauram Menon to go for a remake of the same film with Pretik Babbar and the same Trisha in the lead.
But as the director was busy with Nadunisi naigailhe could use the dates as confirmed by Trisha and currently she is busy with her prior commitment in kollywood. Hence the director would be confirmingMadarasapattinam Emy Jackson for Trisha alongside of the same hero.
We have to wait for further confirmation from the directors den to make it more official
