Karva Chauth katha all are waited for the moon rise



The 2010 Karva Chauth is a Hindu festival which is celebrated mainly in the North India and in some parts of Pakistan. This festival is pragmatic by married women who kept fast at sunrise and break the fast after the moon rise for the happiness of their husband.
Lord Ganesha is worshipped mainly with respect for elders, the worship of all visible gods i.e. the sun, moon, wind, water and fire and all other ‘Vishwadevas’ holding more significance.

Karva Chauth falls on the 4th day after the full moon in Hindu month of Kartik. On this occasion of the Karva Chauth fest, women adorn themselves as a new bridal with earnings, bangals, and mehndi on their hands.

On this mystic occasion, mother-in-law gave sargi to their daughter-in-law as a gift. Sargi is the breakfast consists of milk, dry fruits and Jalebis, which is eat before starting their fast.

In this festival, several women get together before moon rise and one of the women read the Karva Chauth katha and after that they all are waited for the moon rise.
