Gautham Menon has cast Dhobi Ghat star Prateik Babbar and Madrasapattinam fame Amy Jackson in the lead roles replacing Simbu and Trisha respectively. Amy Jackson is Miss Teem World and hails fron the English soil Britain.
Gautham Menon who was expected to cast Trisha in the Hindi remake version, surprisingly opted for Amy Jackson. However Gautham has justified his decision by stating that "We signed her on after seeing her Tamil film. We did a workshop with her to help with her Hindi diction. She has learnt all her dialogues."
"We went with Amy because we wanted a younger looking girl who works well with Prateik," he added. VTV Hind remake is highly expected and this happens to be Gautham Menon's first film in Bollywood.
